Eufaula reportedly has sandy beaches reportedly rated among the top 10 for the USA (sure wish I could find where I read this!). It was formed on the Canadian River in Southeast OK and is over 100,000 acres with more than 600 miles of shoreline. There are at least two State Parks and many Corps of Engineers facilities. It has many services, marinas, restaurants, and other developments while at the same time having much public access through Federal and State parks.

Eufaula Lake is about 180 miles northeast of Dallas and 100+ miles east of Oklahoma City off I40. From Dallas drive north on US75 to US69 in Dennison near Texoma and continue northeast to the lake.
